SSIS – General Package Report for Checking Current Version

Have you ever looked at the General Standard report on the Integration Services?

Typically, you would see something like this. Very generic.

Of cause you have many ways to check the current version of your SSIS packages. But I am trying to make a point that this General Standard report on your package can be a very handy and fast way to check what is running in your production VS. what is under development.

In BIDs, here are where you can change the package properties for every new deployment.

1. To modify Package ID:

2. To modify Version Major, Version Minor, Version Comments, Version Build Number:

3. To modify Description:
