T-SQL: Use CAST to define data type

We all use session-based temp tables without using CREATE TABLE for its convenience.

Example:

select    (other columns)
,        null as HWAction
into    #temp

When we use NULL as default value, the data type is defaulted to Integer, which might not be what you want.

Here is a simple way by using CAST to define the data type:

select    (other columns)
,        cast(null as varchar(20)) as HWAction
into    #temp
