SQL 2005 32 bit – can it work with 64 bit Oracle client (4)?

OK, finally we got the 64 bit Oracle Provider for OLEDB (OraOLEDB.Oracle). With this, I got the linked server working.

EXEC master.dbo.sp_addlinkedserver
    @server = N’ASSETINSIGHT’
,    @srvproduct=N’Oracle’
,    @provider=N’OraOLEDB.Oracle’
,    @datasrc=N’TNSName’

EXEC master.dbo.sp_addlinkedsrvlogin
    @rmtsrvname=N’ASSETINSIGHT’
,    @useself=N’False’
,    @locallogin=NULL
,    @rmtuser=N’username’
,    @rmtpassword=’password’
