SQL 2005 32 bit – can it work with 64 bit Oracle client (3)?

Well, my hope was too high. Here is what my co-worker found out:

I found out that there isn’t an OLEDB provider for ODBC for SQL2005 x64.  There is only one for Itanium.  I finally used one that comes from Oracle, i.e. the Oracle Provider for OLEDB. See below:
