Import SSIS package – Invalid access to memory location

All the sudden, when trying to import a SSIS package from my local file system (a Windows XP machine), this error “Invalid access to memory location” popped out. What is this?

There are some discussions on Internet. Restarting Windows was suggested, and corrupted MSXML registration was suggested. None of these works for me.

regsvr32.exe msxml3.dll
regsvr32.exe msxml6.dll

Fortunately, loading the SSIS package to the server from within BIDS is still working for me.

I have not found a reason for this problem but found that restarting the SQL Server service removed the issue (for now).
